Colour frontispiece of Peregrine Falcon eggs with tissue guard, 6 monochrome plates, 7 further illustrations within text and 2 fold-out maps in colour to rear, as called for. Publishers' deep green cloth with gilt titles to spine and map blocked in black to upper board. Cover cloth a little scuffed, with rubbed spine tips and bruised corners. Small area to ffep where name has been erased; a hint very light scattered foxing, mainly to prelims. Comprehensive guide to the distribution, migration and habits of birds observed in Ireland, including tables showing distribution during breeding season. Heavyweight so a contribution towards increased postage costs may be requested for overseas delivery.
