Salisbury, North Carolina: Documentary Publications , 1977. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Quartos. Two volume set. x, 268; iii, 256 pages, indexed at the rear of Volume II. Hardcovers bound in orange buckram. There is minimal wear to the bindings, which are lightly rubbed. The texts consists of reproductions of documents from the State Department diplomatic series in the National Archives, including letters, diplomatic dispatches with enclosures, and a telegram. Documents were written in longhand and are presented in facsimile. Includes the original receipt from the publisher to George Breathett, North Carolina writer, dated 1977. An edition limited to 200 numbered copies, this being number 22.
