About This Item
New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1939. 1st. Decorative Cloth. Collectible; Very Good/Very Good. The 1936 1st edition (with the Scribner 'A' on the copyright page) of this wonderful drawing instructional by the great Paul Brown. VG (with light wear at the front panel top-edge and light offsetting to the endpapers) in a bright, price-intact, VG- dustjacket, with notable chipping (affecting only the lettering of the word "Black" in the title) along the front panel, light scuffing to the panels and light wear at their edges. Still though, a solid, presentable copy. Quarto, nicely illustrated thruout by Paul Brown in pencil sketch.
