Berlin: S. Fischer, 1915. Limited edition. Hardcover. vg. 1/200. 12mo. 72,[2],pp. Paper-covered boards in original cardboard slipcase. Some discoloration to boards and slipcase. Minor tearing and chipping on slipcase. Frontispiece is an original drawing by Ferdinand Schmutzer protected by decorated cloth guard. Signed by Schnitzler and Schmutzer on blank page preceding frontispiece. Above signatures it reads: "Herausgegeben 1915 zu Gunsten der im Feld erblindeten" (Published 1915 to honor the one's blinded in the field). This refers to the soldiers who at the time fought in the Great War (W.W. I). Arthur Schnitzler (1862-1931) was an Austrian writer, playwright and doctor. Slipcase in good, book in very good condition. Rare in slipcase.
