Colour-illustrated softcovers, cover art woman in red being pulled from the water, mapback on rear cover (minor creasing, slight lean), still VG copy. Second Dell mapback edition. No. 486, of this Continental Op mystery, first published as two different novellas in the 1927 Black Mask magazine under his Peter Collinson pseudonym.
