London, Tinsley Brothers, 1883 1st. Hardback, 9 x 6 inches. Light blue cloth with decorative black panelled boards with gilt pictorial design to front, and gilt lettering and decoration to spine. Pale yelow endpapers. In very good condition. Some minor fading to cloth, some darkening to spine, some rubbing to corners. Bookplate to front endpaper “Hudson Latham Lutwyche.” Embossed stamp to corner of endpaper “W.H. Smith & Son.” Some tanning to pages, some minor light foxing spots to halfitle and prelims. A couple of occasional handling marks and minor spots to inside pages. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 288pp + 2pp cat. With decorative letter, head and tailpieces.
