London: Cecil Palmer, 1924. First edition. Cloth. Very Good. 10" by 7.5". None. A limited, first edition of Gilbert's entertaining description of a market day with a fold-out map. Bound in quarter cloth. Of this Edition de Luxe of 'Bly Market' one thousand copies have been printed, of which eight hundred and seventy-five are numbered and for sale. The first one hundred and twenty-five are signed by the author. This copy is number 344. A collection of stories of activities on a market day from 7 am to 11.45 pm. There is a fold out map of Bly town, and 6 pages of music. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally, smart. Mild wear to the extremities, with light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A little discolouration to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. pages are bright and generally clean with the odd scattered spot, mostly to the first and last few pages. Very Good
