Yellow cloth covers with three red bombs embossed on the front panel of and red coloured titles to the spine. Top corners of the book are bumped and shelf wear evident to the bottom edges. Browning and scuffing to the top paper edge. Illustrated dustwrapper, showing a line illustration of a bomb against the red background, with yellow, black and white Colin titles to front panel and black and white coloured titles to the spine. The dustwrapper is rubbed and faded, particularly front panel and spine. The top and bottom edges are chipped and creased particularly on the corners and the top and bottom of the spine. The author explains how a stratagem used by the Prussian Army -- the war-game -- has been used to promulgate effects of nuclear war. This is the First USA Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
