Henry G. Bohn, London, 1844. Title vignette and engravings within the text throughout, 4-pages of facsimile signatures at end. 8vo (8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches), 304-pages. Publisher's full crimson grained calf, wide decorative gilt border to sides enclosing a gilt ornament of three cherubs holding aloft a basket of fruit. Mild rubbing to extremities but overall in very good condition and very clean internally. The lower inner joint is split and at some time taped; the rear free endpaper adhered to last blank which has old repair. 1940's gift inscription on front free endpaper.
