J.M. Dent and Sons, London, 1980. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: Bryan Neary. Unpaginated. Illustrated endpapers, by Bryan Neary, in fact the whole book is lavishly, nay copiously illustrated with various forms of gremlinhood by Bryan Neary. Dark green coloured boards with gilt writing on the spine. Heavy shelfwear to the lower book edges and bumping to the top book corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. Dust marks to the paper edges. Illustrated dustwrapper, again by Bryan Neary, with black writing on the front panel and spine. Chipping to the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and there is a 0.25 " tear to the top rear spine gutter edge with associated creasing, the front dustwrapper edge and on the lower fold over edge there is a 1.5 " tear with associated creasing. On the top left-hand corner of the front panel there is sticker saying "you may win a prize, count the remnants inside.". A little chipping to the dustwrapper corners as well. A natural history of those little critters who cause untold disarray and mayhem -- The Gremlin. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Bryan Neary.
