There is some evidence of pencil prices having been rubbed out at the top right of the front free end page, light foxing to the 1st 10 or so pages, and to the top and front edges of the text block. The boards are covered with a floral motif and backed with a plan ecru without titling. There is pasted to the upper right-hand corner of the front board the title and author's name. Illustrated endpapers, by Bryan Neary, in fact the whole book is lavishly, nay copiously illustrated with various forms of gremlinhood by Bryan Neary. Dark green coloured boards with gilt writing on the spine. Heavy shelfwear to the lower book edges and bumping to the top book corners and to the head and to the heel of the spine. Dust marks to the paper edges. Illustrated dustwrapper, again by Bryan Neary, with black writing on the front panel and spine. Chipping to the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and there is a 0.25 " tear to the top rear spine gutter edge with associated creasing, the front dustwrapper edge and on the lower fold over edge there is a 1.5 " tear with associated creasing.
