About The Bookery Vermont, United States

Biblio member since 2018

THE BOOKERY @ Rochester is an independently owned, general interest bookstore with a curated collection of new, used, rare and antiquarian books. Our bricks n' mortar store is located on Main Street in the small Vermont village of Rochester at the heart of the White River Valley. Housed in two side-by-side buildings, with rooms named for places in J R R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings series, the store has strong concentrations of titles in Poetry, Vermont, Cookbooks and Agriculture, Architecture and Art, and print ephemera. The work of local artists and "found art" offer a visual complement to book inventory. Pass through the hand-carved "tree" door into a room devoted to young children and upstairs to a large area devoted to sci/fi and fantasy, art supplies, origami, mythology, and graphic novels. We strongly support freedom of expression, freedom to read, free speech: thus, our motto - "In Books We Trust". For our on-line customers, we strive to describe books accurately and to ship promptly. In business for 25 years, we are proud members of VABA, the Vermont Antiquarian Booksellers Association.

Terms of Sale: 30 day return guarantee. Full refund including original shipping costs for up to 30 days after delivery if an item arrives misdescribed or damaged.
