About This Item
London: J. M. Dent and Sons, 1923. Cloth. Very Good/Good. 11" by 8.5". None. A biography of Claud Lovat Fraser, the artist and author. With numerous illustrations by the artists throughout, many of which are coloured. After a brief period under the tutelage of Walter Sickert in 1912, Fraser executed illustrations for Haldane Macfall's essay on art and aesthetics entitled The Splendid Wayfaring. In a cloth binding with decorative paper-covered boards and unclipped dustwrapper. Externally sound, though with some marks and light bumping. Hinges are slightly strained. Dustwrapper has some closed tears and chipping, with a few handling marks. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright, though with some foxing to the first and last few pages. Very Good
