A first edition copy.Claud Lovat Fraser was an English artist, designer and author and this volume gives an impression of him, his art, career and significance written by a close friend of the artist, Haldane Macfall. With twenty plates and a frontispiece and many other in-text illustrations. Collated, complete. With a previous owner bookplate to the front free endpaper with the initials GOM. In the publisher's original quart cloth and hardback boards. Externally, smart with some light marks to the boards and rubbing to the rear extremity and spine label. With a previous owner bookplate to the front free endpaper with the initials GOM and inscription to the half title page. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
