Providence: R.L. Freeman, 1924. Octavo. 29p. map, An important contribution on early South County history. On this plat, which was made in 1675, the Bonnet is designated as "Scotts Bonnet" or as Miller explains "because of its imagined likeness to a Glengarry." Blind stamp from the now defunct Long Island Historical Society. The original pastedown label is present. Bound in red paper covered boards lettered in black, printed paper spine labels. A very good copy with some darkening to board edges minor wear to corners and edges.
