The First UK printing published by Collins, London in 1942. Number '34' in the 'Britain in Pictures. The British People in Pictures' series. The BOOK is in near Fine condition with just some light offsetting and spotting to the prelims. Free from inscriptions and erasures. A hint of rubbing at the spine tips and edges. The WRAPPER is complete and is exceptional near Fine condition. The wrapper is protected in a removable archival cover. The book has been signed (without dedication) by John Piper to the title page.
