Clean, large landscape format (14 x 11 inches) hardback bound in half leather and dark green cloth with gilt titles and decoration. Leather is worn, split between front board and spine, but holding. Rear board cloth damp marked and faded, no inscriptions. Approx last 100 pages water stained at edges. 196 pages, marbled endpapers, 192 large photos on plates, index. Large number of photos of the United States...and some of the commentaries on local (non-white) inhabitants are of their time... .
