About This Item

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1941. Was used as a library book but only evidence of it is Rubber stamp of library in Nashua New Hampshire and a few pencilled dates mostly erased. Two neat signatures on same page one dated 10/16/43. Light blue textured cloth with dark blue lettering. Hinge starting on page 242. No other markings. Pages still supple and only lightly tanned. Last few pages preview the new Rex Stout mystery "Where there's a will". Jacket is the same used in the first edition done by Farrar & Rinehart. Jacket sunned on spine and small chip there as well but both front and rear panels pretty nice. Flaps pretty good as well. Scarce in jacket of any publisher. In mylar. . First Thus. Hardcover. Very Good Minus/VG Minus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
