New York: A.L. Burt Company Book. Illus. by Stanley L. Wood (frontispiece). Good. Hardcover. 1st Thus.. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. No date, but an early A.L. Burt reprint of a romance/western title first published by Small, Maynard & Company in 1918. From the front flap: "A story of a fine-souled woman and of a man who knows love and comes to his own through a struggle that calls for all his courage and devotion." Dust jacket illustration by G.W. Gage. Brown cloth w/yellow lettering to front cover/spine, 294 pages + 11 pages of advertisements listing other titles published by Burt. Cocked w/moderate wear to corners/spine ends, tanned/moderately soiled edges, in dust jacket w/chipping to corners/spine ends, edge tears, 3" tear to bottom of front fold, 1"x1" piece missing from top spine, sun-darkened spine, light soil. Uncommon in a dust jacket of any sort. .
