About This Item

From the Preface: "MOST of the readers of this book will be either approaching marriage or already married and learning that marriage is a process of growth that constantly requires new understandings and adjustments. Our purpose is to present in readable form the scientific knowledge that exists about mate selection, courtship, and the adjustment problems of marriage."

Good condition. Green cloth over boards cover has faded gold gilt text in a black area. Spine also has the black with faded gold gilt text. There is some soiling, bumping, rubbing, edge, and corner wear. There is a spotting on the closed book page edges. There are a few tiny spots on the pages, but LOTS of underlining and marks on the text in the first half of the book. The binding is tight. It is still a very readable book.
