TENTH EDITION 1950 (first published in 1940), 180 x 115 mm, 7 x 4½ inches, buff textured boards, brown lettered on upper cover and spine, colour plate mounted on upper cover, double page black and white pictorial endpapers, 24 pages of text plus 1 page catalogue of other series. 24 delightful full page coloured illustrations, all about a family of little dressed rabbits, line illustration to each text page. On the way home, Whiskers the baby gets tired, falls asleep under a tree, and once found, has to be carried home. Endpapers faintly browned, tiny bookseller's label on front pastedown, no inscriptions, a couple of pale fox spots to title page and next text page. A near Fine crisp clean copy in very good DUSTWRAPPER (dw: no price printed on flaps, spine and folds lightly browned, some minor marks to upper panel, very slight wear to head of spine and top corners, tiny split at top of hinges, neatly strengthened on reverse with archival tape, lower panel lightly soiled and dusty).
