About This Item

1870. A 4 ½" x 3" printed lithograph card with embossed diecut border and gold embellishment. Captioned Aus Freundschaft at base. Applied 3 ½" scrap of foppish young boy in proper riding attire opening his purse and presenting a letter. The scrap of the boy lifts to reveal a message reading Mit rosigem Blick, Umstrahl; Dich das Glück which literally translated to ‘With a rosy view, shine around, you lucky'. Reverse is blank with scrapbook residue. Overall excellent.
