Covers the French winemaking regions in southern France in beautiful detail. Main map is bordered by town plans and birds-eye views of Anduze, Montpelier, Privas, Narbonne, Sommieres, Pezenas, Nismes (Nimes), Pont S. Esprit, Alez, Lunel, Sauve and Vzez.<br><br> The region of Languedoc is one of the largest wine producing region in France with some of the oldest vineyards. It is also famous for the production of cheeses including the Pelardon and Perail cheeses. Languedoc is also an important stopping point on the Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostella.<br><br>Light toning along original folds. Published by J.
