B&W Illustrations; This book is in Near Fine condition and has a Very Good dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some very beginning bumping and rubbing. The text pages are clean and bright. The dust jacket is mostly clean and bright. There are several very small edge nicks and tears to the spine ends. The white covers have some light spots of ground-in dirt. "Rudolf Roessler (Rößler) (November 22, 1897 - December 11, 1958) was a German refugee who had moved to Switzerland in 1933, and was the proprietor of a small publishing firm in Switzerland, Vita Novi. During World War II, he managed to provide, through a Soviet espionage ring operating in Switzerland, intelligence about German operations and intentions on the Eastern Front, usually within a day of operational decisions being made."
