Serious students of railway history will devour this book, for it provides so much more textual information than the average railroad book. There are several photos, however. Both authors are trained engineers with years of related experience in England and Canada. Whether looking for the broad picture, or the history of a single line or location, readers will learn something new. 402 pp..
