Illustrated wraps, 8vo (8-1/4 inches tall), pp. 278, stated first printing, inscribed and signed on the title page "to John - Orson Scott Card". Volume with some edge wear and light creasing, trace of soil and a small stain to text block edge. A signed copy of the author's first book, not issued in hardcover. Preceded by Ace 09136 earlier in 1979.
