About This Item

London: Weidenfeld & Nicholson, 1961. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Good. First Printing. A tidy copy of this famous account. Starting to crack at the hinges throughout the book but remains reasonably square and tight. Free from owner names, library markings etc the book is in VG clean condition - apart from a dust-stained top edge. The dustjacket is unclipped but is split at the corners with very minor loss of paper at those places. Some minor marks to the rear panel, else a Good or better dustjacket. Uncommon, thus.
