About This Item
NY: John Lane, 1916. Cloth spine/paper boards. 104pp. This is one of the scarcer titles by Rice. It is limited to 200 copies and is signed by the author. Rice was one of the most important carillon enthusiasts. He raised money to preserve carillons in Europe after World War I, and he raised money for carillons in the United States, especially his home town of Albany, NY. Among other things he authored the first book in English on the Carillon. This copy would be Very Goodexcept for sime white staining on the spine and back cover. Otherwise it is tight with a clean title paper label on the spine. There is some uniform foxing within due to the quality of paper. Despite what it sounds like, this is a better than Good copy of a scarce work on bells and carillons. [loc=bells]. Signed by Author. Limited/Signed Edition. Cloth. Good Plus/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
