The Battle of Port Lyautey began on 8 November 1942 and ended on Nov. 10 after fierce fighting between the attacking American troops and Vichy French defenders. Khaki cardboard binding with 2 holes punched and held together by bolts and nuts. Stamped "Confidential, D.C.W 41" . Contains approx 80-90 pages printed rectos only on thick card stock with silhouettes of naval war ships for France, Germany, England, America, and Italy. Notes and corrections in blue ink on many of the pages. Very Good, light wear and soiling to covers. A book that was used to train French pilots to recognize battle ships by their silhouettes.
