London: Bloomsbury, 1990. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The first printing under this title of the 1952 book originally published under the pseudonym Claire Morgan as "The Price of Salt." With a new afterword written by Highsmith specifically for this edition. First edition thus. Octavo (9.5 x 6.25 in.); 262pp.; blue textured paper boards, in dust jacket. Light bumping to bottom corners and spine ends. Very light toning to interior edges of textblock. Price-clipped jacket shows moderate crumpling at spine ends and tips. A very good (+) copy in like jacket. Basis of the 2015 Todd Haynes film starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara.

All books ship free with tracking to domestic addresses via USPS Media Mail. In most cases, delivery takes place within a three to ten day window, although the vicissitudes of USPS may apply. Unless otherwise requested, expedited domestic purchases ship via USPS Priority Mail; overseas orders via USPS First Class International. Heavy or oversized books may incur additional shipping charges, as may books shipped to overseas destinations. Any additional charges required will be communicated promptly.
We take safe shipping very seriously; all of our books are packaged in new cardboard boxes amply cushioned with biodegradable packing peanuts. Pamphlets and other flat materials items are ocassionally shipped in bubble-mailers with internal cardboard supports. All books with dust jackets are fitted with brand new archival protectors prior to shipping.
