About This Item

London: Alan Cristea Gallery, 2016. Book. Fine. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover with title in black on spine and front cover. Condition: Fine, binding sound, no inscriptions. 32 plates. This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of prints by Antony Gormley (b.1950) held at the Alan Cristea Gallery, London from 13 May to 2 July 2016. Marking his first project and exhibition with the Alan Cristea Gallery, Gormley made four series of works on paper (woodblock prihts, crude oil and petroleum jelly prints, acquatints and etchings) that consider how our physical freedom and imaginative potential is increasingly conditioned by the built environment. .
