George Watson Cole called this the "greatest bird bibliography in the world." Buchanan/Fisher in Sitwell's FINE BIRD BOOKS (p. 68) says this is a "wonderful" catalogue that "has never been excelled... (It) goes into immense detail, over the dating of text and plates...
