New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1946. Later edition. 22 volumes bound in 11 (2 volumes per book), complete. Quartos (10.25" x 7.5"), variously paginated. Publisher's light blue cloth lettered in gilt within dark blue blocking on the spine. Text in two columns.
Please note, this set is Ex-Library (marked "withdrawn") with the bookplate of the United States Embassy in Paris at the front pastedown of each volume, card sleeves at the rear pastedowns, occasional rubber stamped marks, & paper labels on the spines.
Ex-Library (see above). Bindings a bit shaken, spines lightly browned, modest soiling, otherwise Very Good.
