New York: Frederick A. Stokes. Fair. 1916. Hardcover. 148 p. 21 cm. Bound in grey-cloth over boards. Worn through at the corners. Some rippling to the cloth and soil to the boards. Front hinge is split but holding by the spine mull. Lacks front free endpaper. Previous owner's name and address on front pastedown and rear free endpapers. Inside page have occasional soil to their margins. One colour plate is missing. A few plates are detached and laid in. Bird stories for children, issued with sixteen plates (eight in colour) but one colour plate is missing. .
