Inside pages have occasional light soiling and evidence of fingers and page turning, but are generally clean and bright. Tiny hole on one leaf and a few pages have small dog-eared bumping. Dustjacket has heavy edge wear, including tape shadow marks, creases, tears and chips. The flap folds are moisture stained. Front flap has crease marks. Price clipped. A group of stories about a girl and boy named Betty and Billy, who go to their grandparents farm for summer vacation. Each story is about a different animal they meet at the farm and what they learn about the purposes the animals serve, on the farm and elsewhere.
