Standing, a Quaker missionary.Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Cambridge Libraries.Eight pages of publisher's adverts to the rear. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A small amount of bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Some spots to the fore edge. Front hinge of starting but firm. Prior owner's stamp to the recto to the front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with just a few scattered spots. Prior owner's stamp to the half-title. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
