Middletown, CT: Wesleyan University Press, 1977. First printing. Fine in a fine jacket.. First edition, association copy of an early Wright book, inscribed to fellow Pulitzer Prize winner, Charles Simic. With three instances of marginalia in an unknown hand, though likely Simic's. Full grey cloth. In original illustrated jacket. Inscribed by Wright to first endpaper: "For Charlie, / Who continues / to show me the / way - / from / Charles / April 1978." Signed by Wright again to title page. 65 pages. Trace jacket wear near spine extremities, tiny bits of foxing to outer page edge and a few interior leaves, else about fine throughout.
