Small .75" closed tear to upper edge of jacket. Jacket Mylar protected. Crisp gilt lettering to spine, gilt design to front of black cloth-covered boards. 67 pp. Clean, bright, tight. Edward Dahlberg was born in Boston in 1900. In 1965, Dahlberg became Professor of English Language and Literature of the University of Missouri. "The dialectic of the myth in Edward Dahlberg's poetry affirms, first, the triumph of the human intelligence and, second, opposes this triumph with an obsessive awareness of relentless change and decay," (foreword).
