Easton Press, 1997. Limited Numbered First Edition. Full Leather. Near Fine+/No Jacket as Issued. A handsome green leather Limited Numbered First Edition signed by the author on the limitation page and numbered 608 of 1,000 Limited Edition signed and numbered copies. Subtitled: The U.S. Army From The Normandy Beaches To The Bulge To The Surrender Of Germany June 7, 1944-May 7, 1945. In fine unread condition but for two tiny marks on the edge gilt, very minor. With gold gilt cover designs and page edges, moire silk endpapers and bound-in silk bookmark. This well-known author and historian wrote many important historical books during his lifetime including "Undaunted Courage"; he died in 2002. This is the numbered Limited edition, copies that are only signed also exist (in blue leather). Includes the Publisher's Note and Certificate of Authenticity from Easton Press. A beautiful copy.
