1968. Reprint . Hardcover. Very Good+/Near Fine. One of the earliest voices to challenge the official government report issued by the Warren Commission on the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22nd, 1963. The author "replies to the defenders of the Warren Report, to the press and the communications industry, to the Establishment intellectuals and commentators, and tells the often grim story of how his dissent was almost silenced." Replete with notes, citations, documentary evidence, previously unseen correspondence, & photos, Index. Apparently a reprint from China of the First American Edition from 1968, this hardcover book has bright red cloth-covered boards & silver lettering to spine. Condition is VG+: completely clean inside, with age-appropriate page tanning, but some spotting to top outside page edges. Paper quality varies from front to rear. Binding tight & square, hinges secure. The unclipped DJ is Near Fine, marred only by slight wear ( a short tear & chip) near head of spine where it meets front cover.
