Subtitle: "Comprehending the Most Important Concerns of Private Life, and Particularly Showing the Distresses that May Attend the Misconduct Both of Parents and Children, in Relation to Marriage." A gorgeous set, with rich brown leather covers, frontispieces, 5 raised bands, and gilt lettering to spine. Hinges split but covers still attached. Some rubbing to covers, slight loss at crown and foot of spines. Attractive bookplates and owner's signatures, and browning to edges of endpapers (possibly a reaction to the glue used in the binding.) Texts clean throughout and pages tight. A lovely set..
