About This Item
Scotland: MacLachuinn 'San Strubhartac. Poor. 1839. Hardcover. SOLD AS A BINDER'S COPY - An 1839 hardcover in original wine cloth covered boards which are very rubbed to all edges. The backstrip has anciently been reinforced with black faux pebbled leather, which means that, although the hinges are cracked at both boards and the front endpaper is missing, the text-block is secure. The pages are heavily foxed with some smudging of the corners which does not affect the text. A scarce original copy of a title which would benefit from professional attention but remains a useful reference copy. Carefully packaged and posted within 48 hours from our wee bookshop in Scotland. .
