A collection of the famous and legendary fictions of Ancient Greece, with reference to their mythological and dubiously historical personages. Includes chapters on cosmogony, the pantheon, demigods and heroes, and many others. Written by A. R. Hope Moncrieff, a Scottish writer and historian. Dated from the British Library. In the original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Further spotting to the endpapers. Very Good

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
