FIRST Edition in publisher's original 1894 Hardback binding, green cloth boards, gold gilt lettering on spine. PROVIDENCE: Henri E. Bacon, 1862 enlisted in The Civil War, Volunteer Force of the U.S. Army in the Rhode Island. Binding tilted but holding well. The covers are clean with shelf wear to the corners and edges. Clean, unmarked pages. Prev. owner's signature to the ffep/ first free end page. No dust jacket as issued. Additional photos upon (email) request. For shipping, book will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a clean box. We ship internationally.

PROVIDENCE: Henri E. Bacon, signature on ffep; 1862 enlisted in Civil War; Volunteer Force of the U.S. Army in the Rhode Island.
Though edition does not state date, we know this edition was published between 1894 to 1889. E.A. Weeks established his Chicago based book publishing firm in 1893; 263 and 265 Wabash Ave; 1893 moved to 276 and 278 Franklin St., then in 1894 to 521 to 531 Wabash Avenue. In 1897 company was sued; by 1899 they were out of business.
