T. Fisher Unwin, 1899. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No dust jacket. London: T. Fisher Unwin 1899, first edition. VG red cloth; some uneven fading to covers, spine & its gilt is dulled, attractive bookplate on the front pastedown (same name penciled on first free endpaper). There is a rectangular shadow on the rear pastedown, possibly from a bookplate removal (no damage to paper). Top edge gilt. Binding is square & tight. No dust jacket. 5.75 x 9 in., 335 pp. Climbing memoir of British climber many of whose climbs are still considered difficult. He died on a climb at the age of 34. PLEASE NOTE: This is a heavy book; priority & international shipping will require extra postage.
