A copy of 'The Cloister of the Hearth; A Tale of the Middle Ages' by Charles Reade (June 1814 April 1884) was an English novelist and dramatist, best known for The Cloister and the Hearth. A New Edition. In a cloth binding with cloth boards. Externally, generally smart with some rubbing to the top and tail of the spine and corners of the boards. Internally, firmly bound, bright and generally clean with just some spots to the first and last pages. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
