New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1945. Number 22 in the series. Fourth printing (1945D-4 in Farah's Guide). Worn-through spots on the spine ends and corners. The spine is cocked. The boards are bowed. The leaves are toned. There is some insect damage to the rear endpapers. In a tight binding with hinges intact. The dust jacket has a small chip at the spine tail, where the serial number was. The spine is soiled and the blue Nancy Drew symbol is partially faded. There is some fading to the title on the front panel. Light edgewear otherwise. In Brodart archival dust jacket protector.. Hard Cover. Good+/Good+. Illus. by R. H. Tandy. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
