Frontis: b/w illustration on coated paper: "The Cock Lane Uproar, 1762". 7 illustrations--reproductions of works by Hogarth, Zoffany, Archer. Endpapers with map: West Smithfield ( from the map of London accompanying Dodsley's "London and Its Environs Described", 1761). Ivory linen binding, very clean, no marks, whisper of wear to some extremities. Tight, solid and square sewn binding. Internals in Fine Condition. 117 pages. 5.6 x 8.75 inches. 1965, Macmillan and St. Martin's Press, London=Melbourne-Toronto and New York
