Fox, introducing a new detective Jerry Long. First edition. Detective Sergeant Jerry Long is a hard-working operator on the police force of a big West-Coast city. After being assigned to investigate what seems to be a simple gangland murder, they're soon lead into a maze of traffic between gang-leaders and politicians. Written by James M. Fox, a naturalized American writer born in the Netherlands and known for his detective fiction. In the original grey cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor shelf wear and the odd small mark to the boards. Original unclipped price-clipped dust wrapper is also very smart with minor chipping to the extremities and light sunning to the spine. The odd small mark to the rear panel. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
