France: Societe Martell, 1975. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Francois Kollar. Type: Hard Back Hardcover Large Quarto in Very Good Condition. No jacket. illustrated glossy boards, very clean, with lower front corner scuffed, slight wear to spine heel and lower rear corner tip and a tiny chip along the fore edge. Otherwise, clean and bright, no other wear, internals as new. A hardcover brochure from the House of Martell, who celebrated their 250th year anniversary in business in 1965. It here retraces its history which is also the history of the Cognac brandy trade. Illustrated with full-page, full-color photographs, maps, reproductions of documents, paintings, etc. on every other page, with descriptive text opposing. Photographer Francois Kollar. Also described are efforts made to preserve the immense store of traditions for the benefit of the new generations of "Cognac heirs". Vintage Chart laid in. 98 pages. 12 x 9,75 inches.
